The Olympics (members Walter Ward (born 28-August-1940 in Jackson, Mississippi --- died after a long illness on 11-December-2006 in Northridge, Los Angeles), Eddie Lewis, Charles Fizer, and Walter Hammond (younger brother of Clay Hammond). Melvin King replaced Charles Fizer in 1958 and remained in group as a replacement Walter Hammond when Charles Fizer returned in 1959. Charles Fizer (born 3-June-1940 --- died 14-August-1965 - cause: was shot during the Watts rioting) replaced by Julius "Mack Starr" McMichael, former member of The Paragons. Melvin King left in 1966. Kenny Sinclair former member of The Six Teens joined in 1970)
