Dyke and the Blazers (members Arlester "Dyke" Christian (vocals and bass) (born 1943 in Buffalo, New York - died 30-March-1971 in Phoenix, Arizona - cause: shot four times with a .22 calibre pistol by Clarence Daniels, the bullets striking him in the right temple, the upper chest and right thigh in a bar-room altercation, pronounced dead one hour later. Clarence Daniels was arraigned on murder charges but the case was delayed several times and then eventually dismissed on 1-December-1971, because of "evidence indicating self-defence"), Alvester "Pig" Jacobs (guitar), Bernard Williams (saxophone) (born 12-April-1944 --- died 5-July-2006 --- cause: ?), J. V. Hunt (saxophone), Richard Cason (organ) and Rodney Brown (drums))
